| This is one of my
favorite camp grounds in Northern Michigan. The park is located on
the Ausable River in Glennie, just north of Oscoda. They offer
modern camping with rates and facilities that compete with State
Campgrounds. There are several rustic sites right on the river and
modern sites are only a few yards from the river. Shower facilities are
modern and clean. Lots are average in size, some larger than
others. Reservations are recommended in the summer. If
you enjoy the quiet beauty of the fall, this is the place to be. |
